Dr. Matt Johnson

Since 2006, Dr. Matt Johnson has devoted his career to education, serving in a wide range of leadership roles, including Teacher, Coach, Department Head, Vice Principal, Athletics Director, High School Principal, Chief Academic Officer, and Head of School. His professional journey has taken him to schools in Georgia, Arizona, Missouri, and Washington.

Dr. Johnson holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with a focus on K–12 education from Grand Canyon University, as well as a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Ohio State University.

Over the years, Dr. Johnson has seen his work in education evolve into a ministry shaped by a deep calling to mentor and disciple the next generation. This heart for spiritual formation has led to meaningful opportunities, most notably serving alongside his wife, Andrea, as Youth and College and Career Pastors in Arizona and officiating the weddings of two former students he mentored. These experiences have reinforced his belief that the greatest joy in education comes from seeing God transform the hearts and lives of young people.

In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys early mornings with coffee and a sunrise, golfing, yard work, and spending quality time with Andrea.
